We have been a couple of times now and enjoy it. Great attraction for locals and visitors of all ages. Entertaining and educational. Nice staff and lots of seating on train. Parking is close by. Entertainment while waiting to board helps time pass as well.
One of the must see and do things when in Kamloops. The train inside out takes you to a time 100 years ago. Purely driven by volunteers this is a piece of history that everyone needs to get a taste of when in Kamloops.
This station is located in a quiet little town in Western Canada. Our train, the Rocky Mountaineer, arrived to the train staff greeting us with open arms. The history of the rail yard and station are evident and well maintained through the residents of the town. Even some of the locals were at the station when the train pulled in to wave and greet us at the end of our journey. Overall, this station had a great history and great people. If you get the chance to come through this station and town, I recommend doing so.
Brilliant steam train ride that normally lasts about 1h15 and provides entertainment and refreshments. Unexpectedly when we took the ride it lasted twice as long and was the first time line controller decided to allow a much longer journey. Wonderful friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Could be Nice but don't bring the family mostly just a bunch of dealers an stoners best to go to the more central park
