Very nice campsite with a great location! Staff was very helpful and accommodating!! Def would recommend this campsite!!
Good basic campground with clean washroom facilities and good WiFi included. This isn't a "worked tight in the trees" or a very private campground but it is right on the river in Kamloops. The way it is set up, you don't have any neighbours behind you. Some train noise but not bad. There is an impromptu beach right next to the campgrounds and it is right across a rather narrow older bridge from a good beach inside the city. Our 30 amp power was good and we didn't trip any breakers running our AC, which in the 38 degree heat was a welcome break. Aside from the beach, the park was a little light on things to entertain young kids but the setting near the river was great. We travel through here from time to time with our 5th wheel and I have and would stay here again.
We had a nice site... They totally over booked and starting squeezing people in litterly on our site... We complained and they said they always do this for long weekends. Even though we booked months in advance, they said they would not do anything for us about it. And the people that squeezed in on us said they double booked the site next to us which is why they were all up in our site. They did nothing to accommodate those people as well .Refused to let us talk to a manager about it. Really if this is what they do on long weekends, when you call to make a reservation they should say you will not get a whole site to yourself ...
Seems if you want good customer service, go elsewhere... they don't answer the phone or return messages when "they're full". They don't return emails either. Makes trying to plan a trip and ensure a place to stay impossible. They also don't take tent reservations for a week in duration without a reasonable explanation. Knutsford is a much friendlier, customer service focused place. Try that instead. These people shouldn't be in business. What a joke. Sleeping in your car at Walmart is preferable.
Affordable camping in town with bathrooms and showers. Right off the river so if you're tenting you'll hear the water all night.It can be a little noisy at times as there are major roads very close by, but overall a very nice, affordable RV/tent park.
