EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE ARRANGEMENT! DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST - for what you pay the product is a complete rip off. Staff and owner are unhelpful when confronted with a problem about the order. Use Awesome blossom instead.I live in Victoria and wanted to send my sister flowers for her birthday. After a lengthy discussion with the staff member I picked the Teleforia rosy birthday bouquet. It has pick roses and orange Lilly's with some green accent flowers. The staff member assured me for $50 dollars the bouquet would be BEAUTIFUL. They added the $12 delivery fee and tax so I'm into the flowers for over $70 bucks. My sister sent me a picture of what was actually delivered. It had 5 pink carnations, 4 orange daisies and green leaves. I hated it and felt completely ripped off. I contacted the florist immediately and explained my disappointment in the arrangement for the money I spent. I spoke with both the original staff member and the owner. The staff member actually said to me, "I didn't know you wanted pink roses, if you did I would have told you we don't have pick roses." Are you serious!?!? She also said, "we just talked about colours and I did wrap the flowers in Orange paper." Are you kidding me!?!? She went on to list all the flowers in the bouquet and claimed it was just a miscommunication. They offered to go pick up the sad bouquet and replace it with something else. I was so insulted and annoyed I told them they were welcome to pick them up but that I would be getting their competitor to make a new bouquet. This wasn't a miscommunication, it was a rip off! They picked up the flowers and I had to call my sister and explain what was going on, how embarrassing was that? I contacted Awesome blossom, the staff was friendly, professional and assured me the new bouquet would be beautiful and delivered first thing in the morning. And indeed the new bouquet was stunning and at the same price point as the arrangement Barb's created. If your out of town and looking for a florist use Awesome blossom NOT Barb's. Unless you want to pay for roses and get carnations instead that is!!!
Janice at Barb's Bouquets was a pleasure to deal with, and we loved our wedding flowers (exactly what we wanted). The entire process was very stress free, and the flowers were delivered without any problems. 5 stars!
Don't live in the Kamloops area so was kinda flying blind on this one. Called Barb's bouquets and felt I hit the jackpot! The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable both about the flowers and what was acceptable at the hospital where they were being delivered. Phoned in the morning and by the afternoon a colourful fresh bouquet - full of flowers not fillers - was being enjoyed by my aunt. The price point was also great. Would not hesitate to use their services again or to recommend them to family and friends! Thanks so much for the great service!
We received a huge poinsettia from this store just over a week ago. My sister paid $95 for it as a Christmas gift to us. Almost half of the flowers and leaves have fallen off to the floor, despite having not watered/overwatered it. We called the florist, but got no satisfaction. Actually she did send us this little tiny box of dollar store chocolates for our trouble
Can't say enough great things about this place! Friendly staff and great product! I asked for something for $50 including delivery. And they sent a beautiful full arrangement! I paid double for something half as good from awesome blossom. I will never go anywhere besides barbs ever again!
