This place is FULL of hidden fees in your contract. They provide zero explanation about returning your rental after hours- put the key in the box. Nope- turns out I need a smart phone, full battery, my data on and location services on, and need to be physically there to take pictures of the entire vehicle. Dont try drop it off and do this at home, thanks for the heads up guys. Charged me for two days which I had to then waste time in my work day getting fixed. Cashier gave me a false estimate and got me to sign the contract, only for them to go and overcharge me afterwards based on my mileage (which was less than the estimate she gave me). The worst part is the lack of ownership and transparency this location and its staff are providing customers. Absolute hassle and waste of my time and money. See ya never.
We needed a truck for the day to move some furniture and ended up with the Ford F-250 regular cab. It did the job and only cost us $40 for the few hours we needed it. Great service and awesome prices!
Pick up reservation was bungled. Reservation confirmation email said to pick up the truck in 100 mile, instead of Kamloops. And our destination was the lower mainland! Our new pick up was in Sorrento for 9am, but they had entered the expire date for the credit card incorrectly and it took an hour and a half before we were finally on the road. Then our drop off destination turned out to be a strip club! They gave us the wrong drop off address 3 times
Persistent when it comes to demaning the Uhaul back which may add to the already aquired stress of a move you may already have, so just because the contract has the option of keeping what you've rented for more than the determined days with a fee schedule, it doesn't mean they will easily just let you keep it longer without continually calling you. My advice to them would be to scrap the option of paying for extra days all together and just stick to an agreed upon time frame. However in saying all that, the staff are very friendly and helpful. While currently the grounds are under construction I recommend parking to the business on the opposite side of them and making the extra walk, as they have not paved yet and there are many metal scraps in and about the area of where you're to park adding potentially a higher risk of puncturing your vehicles tires.
