Absolutely terrible hotel. Stayed in room 302. The bathroom had mold, it smelt bad, the bed had a giant hole in it, the pillow cases looked a stained off white colour, the stove dials were all broken and it was dirty, ALL the dishes in the cupboard were dirty, the couch sunk in, the table was unwiped and had a piece of marijuana on it when we walked in. The complimentary coffee tasted bad, the patio had one dirty plastic chair on it. The fire place on button had been removed so you could not even use it. Terrible terrible. I will never stay at a Days Inn again.
This place is rough. Unless you are just going through I recommend staying elsewhere. Its an old converted apartment and reaks of mold. The rooms have all laminate that has seen better days. The pool is smelly and the photos are misleading. But.... the breakfast room has a great view and the food was good.
We were extremely happy with the front desk service provided by sapna. She was great to deal with and our experience at this hotel was improved by her professionalism in helping with our situation. Thank you Sapna!
Spent a night here, woke up to find my SUV window broken into. Thieves stole a backpack that was covered under blanket in the backseat. I went back inside the hotel to inform the front desk staff, they asked if I had parked in the back corner parking spot, I said yes, he replied saying "yea...". Apparently it's a hot spot (parking spot) for vandals. Would have been nice if they told guests that! I also asked if they had any security footage, he replied saying that the cameras had been broken by vandals and never fixed, so no they did not have any footage. Long story short, mediocre hotel, mediocre continental breakfast, and useless front staff. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
Normally Days Inn is well appointed. If youre expecting that from this place, look again. Im not usually one to complain about much but am surprised that Days Inn put their name to this place. The pillow cases needed to be replaced when we checked in. They looked like they had been run over with the housekeeping trolley. The carpet in the room is filthy. I was afraid to walk around with my shoes off. The pool and hot tub are dirty. There is a nice ring of scunge just above the water line. The common areas stunk like something I wont say in this post and everywhere else had been sprayed with air freshener which had a flowery yet acidic smell to it. It was truly an assault on the senses. Although the breakfast room was on the 3rd floor away from the rest of the sensory assault, it was light on the continental breakfast compared to other Days Inn properties weve stayed at. I agree with another poster, look elsewhere. There are lots of other hotels in that area.
