Me and my family stayed at Fairfield Inn, Kamloops B.C. in 2017 and we thorougly enjoyed our stay. We had such an enjoyable time there that we decided to book another stay for the end of the month for 6 nights (Aug 2018). All was going great as I paid in full in advance and tonight when I called to request a receipt for the payment to be emailed to me I encountered the rudest male front desk employee! He did not listen to my request because he emailed my 2017 incidentals receipt, he asked me if I spoke another language (mandarin, I think) when I was spelling my last name for him he cut me off very rudely and said "I got it..I got it!!" After I realized he sent me the incorrect info I called back for a manager. I was able to speak with another male colleague who pulled up my reservations with no problem. I must say this experience left a terrible taste in my mouth but the hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, they have a great breakfast selection and wonderful staff like Meghan and Dominique make it worth it.
Great place. Super friendly staff all the way around. Clean room. Clean bright lobby. Amazing continental breakfast. Highly recommend it.
Excellent service and accommodation. Coffee/tea service all day - though We werent told that on check in and it is not visible from the front desk. Decent morning breakfast with buffet hit and cold items. The two young girls who clean the tables are lovely to talk to :) Rooms well maintained. Friendly staff. Yes, wed stay again.
A nice hotel, centrally located, and with funky decor. The continental breakfast is beyond continental with tasty egg and cheese omelettes. Though the guide in each room boasts on sustainability, inpractice there is much improvement to make in this department. Particularly with not using single use plastics for everything with breakfast.
The staff is very helpful and courteous. The rooms were spacious, and quite nice. The pool was warm. Great family friendly hotel.
