My wife and I have been shopping here for years already (since it opened here really) we have always found the staff to be helpful and courteous even when they're very busy. We find Kim to be always willing to help and we notice that she seems to ensure the store is well staffed with really good friendly people. We like James in particular. He's a great big teddy bear and always willing to help. We have shopped at most of the other Big Box Stores in BC. We find this store to be exceptionally well organized and clean compared to the others. We highly recommend shopping here!

My wife and I purchased an over the range hood. Previously we had a over the range microwave that we were unhappy with (just the poor ventilation).We bought one we thought we could be happy with. We purchase the hood 4 months ago; we aren't always ready to do the labour when we find a good price; things often sit until we are.We removed the microwave and when we went and tested the hood; it was dead (we tested the fuse in the hood, and any thing obvious).We contacted Jen (manager), at the Bix Box Outlet and explained the situation. Jen was very understanding and explained that we didn't meet the return policy; however, this time she would help us out by giving an in-store credit.Jen explained that she did have a couple in the back (they didn't have room on the showroom floor) that we could look at. Amazingly we found 1 of the 2 in the back we liked. Jen gave us the sale price on it; 50% off the sticker price, and we walked away with a better quality hood for just $30 extra. We are frequent shoppers of Big Box Outlet and have almost always been happy with staff and pricing. Jen in particular really made the difference for us turning a complete disaster into a success story.Thank you.
